Mane (In GOLD color)
I used synthetic thread with 2.5cm hairs / fringes and a 3.5mm needle.
It is important to choose the appropriate crochet number for the type of yarn or wool that we get. The mane will be like a wig, it must be elastic, therefore we will weave freely without tension. If the hairs of the thread are frequent (as in my case), we can make loose stitches, but if it has little hair, we can knit with double thread or make smaller stitches. Meanwhile, we will be testing the mane on the lion’s head, in the course of weaving. I provide them with the measurements that worked for me according to the thread and the needle I used, with a loose stitch (they may have to increase or reduce the size depending on the material and the tension of the stitch when knitting).
