List of Materials Needed: 

Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (YarnArt DOLCE): turquoise color, 3 skeins. I used 2 skeins of YarnArt DOLCE and 1 skein of Himalaya Dolphin Baby. The yarn may vary slightly in color, and I alternated colors when crocheting the body: 4 rows, 2 rows, 4 rows, 2 rows, and so on. 

Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn: dark gray color, a small amount for the tongue. All calculations in the description are based on the specified yarn. 

Crochet hook size 3.5 – 4.0 mm for main crocheting. 

Crochet hook size 2.0 mm for crocheting the tongue. 

Stuffing (polyester fiberfill or synthetic fluff or swan’s down). 

Sewing needle. 

Two beads, diameter 8 – 10 mm. 

Abbreviations: 

MR – magic ring; 

ch – chain; 

SC – single crochet; 

INC – increase; 

DEC – decrease; 

(2SC, INC)*n – repeat n times; 

(20) – number of stitches in a row.

Head 

Stuff lightly as you crochet. 

Round 1: 6 ch, SC in the second ch from the hook, 3 SC, 3 SC in the last ch, 3 SC on the opposite side, INC. (12) 

Round 2: INC, 3 SC, 3 INC, 3 SC, 2 INC. (18) 

Round 3: INC, 6 SC, 3 INC, 6 SC, 2 INC. (24) 

Rounds 4-6: 24 SC. (24) 

Round 7: 2 INC, 8 SC, 2 INC, 12 SC. (28) 

In the future, eyes will be placed between the increases.

Continue making decreases at the beginning of each row. 

Round 110: DEC, 3 SC, cut the yarn and secure. 

Tongue 

Chain 16, SC in the second ch from the hook, 5 SC, 6 ch, SC in the second ch from the hook, 5 SC, SC in each remaining ch, cut the yarn leaving a tail for sewing the tongue and embroidering the mouth line. 

Head Decoration 

Determine points for sewing the tongue (1 and 2), embroidering the mouth (3, 4), and attaching the eyes (5). 

Sew on the tongue and eyes, embroider the mouth.
