Gold Fish Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern

Crochet Gold Fish Pattern
You will need:
Yarn or cotton thread: Yellow, pink, light pink, blue, light brown, dark blue, green.
Hook: 1-1,75 mm (depends on your thread size )
2 plastic eyes 15mm + eyelashes
Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
Scissors
Glue
Needle for sewing
…and of course a good mood!

ch – chain
sc – single crochet

Pattern notes:
You can use a different hook, depending what size you want the fish to be.
Use any colors that you want. Mix it up and make it beautiful.
Numbers in brackets () means how much stitches you have in the row.
I recommend to use marker so you can better see where row starts and ends.
Finished toy size ~ length 16 cm, It works well in any type of thread, the size of finished toy depends on the thread and crochet hook you use.

Consist of 2 parts: lower and uper lip.
Use yellow thread for lower lip

Fold lip half and half, start crocheting by both sides (12sc) and gradually fill in. Leave the thread for
sewing.
Fish eyes:
You will need:
2 plastic eyes 15mm diameters + eyelashes
1) Glue eyes to your fish face
Fish posterior fin:
Use yellow thread. Start crocheting as you can see in picture 1
Make 7 ch, sc in second chain (this is the 1 st fin outgrowth)There are 7 fin outgrowth.
6ch, sc in second chain from the hook, sc in the next stitch (this is the 2nd fin outgrowth)

Use light brown thread and crochet as you can see in picture 2
Crochet sc in each stitch, make increase on all 7 outgrowths. Start crocheting with first

Crochet all row with dc in each stitch, make 6 increase ( 2 dc in stitch – 6 times) on all 7 outgrowth.
Continue crocheting from 7 th outgrowth.

Use blue thread. Crochet row with dc + ch in each stitch.
Continue crocheting at 1 st outgrowth. (See picture 3)
1sc in the second stitch from hook, 1ch, 1dc, 1ch, 1dc repeat till row ends
Row 5
Use dark blue thread.
Continue crocheting at 7 th outgrowth.

Crochet all row with – 4ch*, 4sc, 4ch*, 4sc
*4ch -4ch, slip stitch in the 4 th stitch from hook. ( in picture seen as circle with 4 ch).
Fasten the thread, cut and hide it. Sew fin to your fish back.

Fish side fin:
Make side fin the same way as you made posterior fin
!Important make all outgrowths exactly the same as the 7th outgrowth. You can adjust outgrowths as you wish.
For example make more than 7 outgrowths and your fin will be bigger or make 6 outgrowths and
your fin will be smaller it is up to you.
Make 2 side fins – one for each side.
Then sew it to your fishy.
Fish tail:
Make 2 details.
Use yellow thread.
Row 1: 2ch,6sc in second chain, make ring (6)
Row 2: 2sc in every stitch (12)
Row 3: (1sc, increase) 6 times (18)
Row 4: (2sc, increase) 6 times (24)
Row 5-10: 24sc round (24)
When the second detail is ready do not cut the thread. Continue crocheting with next row ( now
you will crochet both details togeather) :

Fasten the thread, cut and hide it. Stuff
Fin tail with filler. When Fin tail is ready sew it to body (tail).
